The Governing Body is a voluntary body of people who work to conduct the school with a view to promoting high standards of educational achievement at the school.
The term of office for a Governor is 4 years.
The Governing Body work with a focus on these three core strategic functions:
Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction
Holding the headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils, and the performance management of staff
Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent.
Minutes, agendas and papers considered at meetings are available on request, with the exception of those deemed private/confidential.
