In the event of a whole or partial school closure, we will continue to provide high-quality education to all children through our remote learning offer. This will be made available on the first day absent from school.Work will be set through Class Dojo for KS1 (Reception, Year 1, Year 2) and Microsoft Teams for KS2 (Year 3-6). All children will use Microsoft Teams for ‘live teaching’ sessions.
Daily work will be set in the following subjects and will be as closely matched as possible to work that would have been completed in school:
- Reading
- Writing
- Spelling/Grammar
- Maths
- Topic (from a range of subjects including science, history and geography)
In order to reduce the impact of any closures to children’s education, it is important that children complete as much work as possible whilst at home.
Children who are self-isolating but are well will also be able to access remote education. Further details can be found in the ‘digital platform letter’.
